Former Cheltenham Town midfielder is one of eight players to be released by Forest Green Rovers
Forest Green have announced the release of eight players at the end of the 2019-20 season.
Dayle Grubb, Elliott Frear, Farrend Rawson, George Williams, Junior Mondal, Kevin Dawson, Liam Shepherd and Matt Mills will all leave The New Lawn at the end of their contracts.
Grubb joined the club in January 2017 from Weston-super-Mare and scored 11 goals in 71 games.
However he only played seven games last season after seemingly falling out of favour and was loaned to National league side Eastleigh in January.
Frear was in his second spell with the club, scoring 13 times in 123 games in his first spell before joining Motherwell in 2017. He returned last season and scored once in seven League Two starts.

Defender Rawson, 23, was signed from Derby County in January 2018 and was a regular in the Rovers backline, making 84 League Two starts.
Welsh international Williams broke his leg in the opening game of the 2019-20 season, and made three comeback appearances, scoring once, bfore the Covid-19 virus ended the season.
But he was in fine form in 2018-19, scoring some spectacular goals including a hat-trick in a 4-1 Boxing Day win at Newport.
Forward Mondal scored five times in 15 starts with 24 substitute appearances after signing from Whitby Town, while Irishman Dawson spent a season with the club after leaving county rivals Cheltenham Town. He only started 12 League Two games without finding the net for the club.
Full-back Shephard arrived from Peterborough and made 54 League Two starts, while Matt Mills, brother of club skipper Joseph, came in as player-coach after a spell in India with Pune City. He made 17 League Two starts.
Joseph Mills, Chris Stokes and Nathan McGinley have all been offered new contracts, while Aaron Collins, Adam Smith, Carl Winchester, Dominic Bernard, Ebou Adams, Josh March, Lewis Thomas, Liam Kitching, Matty Stevens, Shawn McCoulsky and Udoka Godwin-Malife are all under contract at the New Lawn,
Academy pair Vaughn Covil and Harvey Bunker have been promoted to the first-team squad, while loanees Conrad Logan, Jack Aitchison, Jevani Brown, Odin Bailey and Rob Hall have returned to their parent clubs.
